Privacy Policy:

Preliminary

CapeMax, LLC and its affiliated websites respect your interest in privacy and understanding how the information you provide during pre-registration will be used.  This is a preliminary privacy policy and is not written to cover the range of confidentiality and privacy issues of a fully operational email system. Therefore, prior to proceeding with Stage II of our Migration Plan, this policy is expected to expand and integrate with an updated Email Policy and a general Terms of Service agreement.

If you have read this far into our website, then you know that our goals are bold and with the intended purpose of fully solving the spam problem, making email communications safer, more secure, more respectful, more efficient and putting you in full control of your inbox.

At this time, we are pre-registering members in order to assess the viability of the new CapeMax email system. The pre-registration process uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to secure the information during entry. The information collected during pre-registration and subsequent site usage is very limited and will be used to reserve your username, allow you to invite other people (My Net Builder), setup a future CapeMax email system account, communicate with you via today’s email system about CapeMax’s progress toward system launch (Migration Plan) and for our analysis of the interest in the CapeMax solution to the spam problem.

By nature of a networking mechanism the My Net Builder system is designed to share some of your information with people that you invite and then the people they invite and so on. The information shared currently consists of your name, email address and username.  The primary reason for this is obvious so that invitation recipients can recognize from whom an invitation originated, but also to network you with other members for the reasons outlined in the My Net Builder system description.  Due to the social networking purpose of the My Net Builder system, we recommend that you not include any contacts that you want the knowledge of any relationship kept private.  Once CapeMax proceeds to Stage II of the Migration Plan, the system will provide for such contacts.  Although, the communications you send via the My Net Builder invitations are private between you and the respective recipients, to the extent that any email message is private in today’s email system.

CapeMax, LLC’s database is for the furtherance of our ultimate goal – putting an end to the spam problem.  Therefore, CapeMax, LLC will not rent or sell member lists for any email marketing purposes.  Except in a situation where all or substantially all of CapeMax, LLC’s assets were acquired, or the company merged would our database change ownership.  In which case our successor would take responsibility for maintaining the integrity of purpose for which our members intended their information to be used.

Please note that this is CapeMax LLC’s preliminary privacy policy and is subject to change without further notice.
